Happy Almost Halloween!
I know I always wait until the last minute to figure out what Halloween costume I want to be so here are a few easy ones that you can pull right from your own closet or make in no time!
What I always do when I look in my closet for a Halloween costume are 4 things:
- Evaluate what pieces of clothing I have
- Think of what character, person, or thing I could be with the clothing in my closet
- Lay them out
- Start piecing the outfit together
Treat it just as if you are putting an outfit together for school or work. It is honestly a fun process! If there are any pieces of clothing that you typically wouldn’t wear such as a furry coat or a sparkly dress, those could be turned into great costumes.
Minnie Mouse
Last, but not least, the ears. Of course I went with my classic black and red bow Minnie Ears from the Disney Parks. Adding the ears completes the Minnie Mouse look! This look is a super casual and wearable look on Halloween. I would probably wear this to Disney!
Dorothy ~ Wizard Of Oz
This is another classic look that is one of my favorites! I have the perfect DIY for this Dorothy Dress! I found the DIY on Youtube! Here is the link. If you are crafty, this will take you no time! It only took my 15 minutes! I have style this dress with a white button down top from Forever 21.
And of course, I had to add a red bow for Dorothy’s look. Braids really aren’t my thing, but it’s Halloween so it’s your chance to do whatever you want with your own creative spin on at costume.
I also added a white choker from Forever 21!
I hope this blog gave you inspiration for an outfit or helped you out for some last minute decisions!
Thank you for reading!
Until the next blog,
Cheyenne
