8 Disney Life Hacks You Need to Know!

Hello Disney Fans!

I absolutely love traveling to Walt Disney World at least twice a month with my Annual Pass. I am going to give you a few of my all time FAVORITE hacks for surviving a day at Walt Disney World!

1. Snapchat Where You Parked

Recently, finding our car was impossible because we forgot what row number and section we parked in at the end of the night. After a long day at Magic Kingdom, you aren’t worrying about what Villain or Hero you parked in, you just want to find your car and head home. If you take a Snapchat or any picture and save it on your phone just remember to look at your pictures at the end of the night while waiting for the tram to your parking lot.

*Magic Tip: Make sure you bring an extra battery pack in case your phone starts dying!*

2. The FastPass+ Game

Always remember, Ride 3, Add 1 More! FastPasses are your best friend when enjoying the parks! If you have a whole day ahead of you and have 3 FastPasses planned, after you complete all 3 FastPasses, you are eligible to redeem ANOTHER FastPass! The trick is, you cannot miss the FastPass.

*Magic Tip: If you are Traveling to the Magic Kingdom, always make sure use choose FastPasses that have the longest wait times to maximize your time in the park! AKA: The Mountains!*

3. Famous Balloon PicturesIMG_7305

“Adventure is out there..” – Up

Ever wonder how you get to hold the balloon pictures? Just ask ANY Cast Member if you can hold the bouquet of balloons and snap a few cute pictures! One of my favorite things to do in the park. It always makes me smile and would be great for kids to have a chance to hold the most magical balloons ever.

*Magic Tip: If you ever buy a balloon in the park and the balloon pops, just bring it to a cast member and they will replace it for free!*

4. My Disney Experience App

This App will be your guide to everything Disney. This App not only has interactive maps of all of the parks, but you can view wait times in each park, make dining reservations, link your park tickets/passes and add your friends to make sure they are able to get the same FastPasses as you. This app was very helpful the first couple of times going to Disney and not knowing the way. Having the map through the phone tracking my steps around the park was so helpful when taking adventures in different areas of the park.

5. Breakfast Before The Park Opens

Disney breakfast is always the best breakfast! On the My Disney Experience App, you are able to make dining reservations for and restaurant you desire! For example, Magic Kingdom doesn’t open until 9AM, but the earliest reservation you can make is for MK is 8AM! Crystal Palace, Cinderella’s Royal Table and Be Our Guest all serve breakfast! This is the perfect opportunity to get pictures in front of the Cinderella’s Castle before the massive crowds of people enter the parks!

*Magic Tip: Cinderella’s Royal Table requires you to reserve the dining by phone!*

6. Lunch Time Madness

Around 11:30AM-1:30PM at the Disney Parks, you may see wait times go down, if that is the case, it is the standard “Lunch Time” and people will be flooding the quick service lines. I always wait to go to lunch at Disney until 2:00PM-3:00PM when I know the crowded quick service restaurants are no longer filled with people. This always saves time in the stand by lines! This would be the time to ride something that you don’t have a FastPass for!

*Magic Tip: Bring a few snacks like protein bars or granola bars in case you get hungry waiting for a ride between Lunch Rush Hours*

7.Club Cool

Ever need a little bit of a refresher and are on a budget? Go to Club Cool in Disney’s EPCOT and get free samples of drinks from different countries! This club is hidden behind the Starbucks at EPCOT and is Coca-Cola themed.

*Magic Tip: Don’t try the Beverly drink*

8. Firework Shows – A Must See! IMG_7353

We all know how obsessed I was with the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular Show, and now that it is gone I am still a little sad. The new firework show and Magic Kingdom is Happily Ever After and it’s amazing! I have two of my all time favorite spots. The first one is in Fantasyland next to Philharmagic with the back view of Cinderella’s Castle. This is a great view of the castle and you are right in the middle of all the action! Another great spot is the Tomorrowland Bridge. This bridge is not very crowded and is the perfect place to see the fireworks and still seeing a side view of the castle.
