Welcome To New York ~ OOTW 7/19-7/22

New York City – the city that never sleeps!

I have a few outfits to show you from the week I was in New York City for a conference. These outfits embrace the Florida style too because of how hot it was in New York at the time I was there. High 90’s just like my hometown.

Wednesday: Street Casual 

This day I wore one of my favorite outfits! I rocked these flowy maroon shorts from Torrid. I love how comfortable these shorts are! If I had to choose one article of clothing to wear for the rest of my life, it would be these shorts. The details are beautiful and these shorts are flattering on any body type. I also chose to wear my rose gold Madden Girl gladiator shoes for this outfit to compliment the purple tones.

I paired the shorts with a basic off the shoulder top with pompoms. This shirt is from Bealls. I paired the whole outfit with Alex and Ani bracelets and my Jessica Simpson White framed sunglasses.

 

I also used my turquoise Steve Madden crossbody bag for carrying around my essentials! I love that the bag is small and compact. Perfect for walking around in Times Square and Coney Island!

 

Thursday: Tourist Casual 

This outfit was super comfortable on a day of traveling through NYC! I wore cream colored, floral shorts since it was in the 90’s. These shorts are from Ross. They are perfect for this weather!

I wore a light blue flowy tank top to coordinate with the blues in my floral shorts from Bealls. My sunglasses are from the Jessica Simpson Collection.

I paired it with the same purse from the first outfit. I wore my favorite, go-to strap sandals from Guess.

This outfit was super comfy for the whole day of fun adventure throughout the city.

Friday: Broadway Play

This day I went to a broadway play! I wore this pretty, lace pink dress from Ross. This dress is super cute and perfect for the show!

I wore a blue sweater just in case it would be cold in the theater. I bought this sweater from Bealls!

My shoes are by Rampage, purchased from Ross!

 

Saturday: Taxis and Overalls  

I loved this outfit in the city! It was different and fun! I purchased white overalls from Torrid, through the Poshmark app! I love the distressed look and how comfortable they are! Walking around in this outfit was no problem!

I paired the overalls with a floral off the shoulder top from Ross and rose gold gladiators by Madden Girl.

I loved wearing this outfit around the city! It was flirty and fun. This outfit is where I was able to embrace my curves I love me for who I am.
