As Halloween is fast approaching this week and the holiday season is around the corner, I have a list of fun things to do this fall before Halloween hits this Wednesday!
Go to a Pumpkin Patch
I love finding a local pumpkin patch and walking around, taking pictures! This is something I do every year! I go to a local pumpkin patch that supports schools around the area. It’s so much fun to get the pumpkins that you want and help others in the process. Go to the pumpkin patch with a friend and celebrate Halloween together!
Carve Pumpkins into Jack-O-Lanterns
While you’re at the pumpkin patch, grab the perfect pumpkin to make into a Jack-O-Lantern! I typically will go to Pinterest to find my favorite design for the pumpkin before I start to make marks on my pumpkin! This year, Mickey Mouse is on my list! Bake Pumpkin Seeds
The best part about buying the biggest pumpkin to carve is what’s inside – PUMPKIN SEEDS GALORE! My favorite fall snack besides pumpkin pancakes are pumpkin seeds. I love to have traditional seeds with salt, but recently David and I made spicy pumpkin seeds which were AMAZING! The bag of seeds was gone within 24 hours. If you look up pumpkin seed recipes you will find all different kinds of ways to spice up your seeds!
Watch Hocus Pocus and Nightmare Before Christmas
This year was my first time watching The Nightmare Before Christmas! I loved it so much! If you are looking for fun movies to watch this Halloween, check out Freeform. They have Halloween movies running all day on Halloween!
Pass Out Candy To Trick or Treaters
One of my favorite things to do during Halloween is pass out candy to the trick or treaters! I will buy cute small teat bags, stuff them with different kinds of candy and pass the small bags out during the evening of Halloween! I never really went trick or treating when I was younger, but this was something I always looked forward to doing!
