I wanted to share some of my favorite tips on how I stay confident and how it’s the best accessory to have. Confidence is something I’ve worked on for most of my life, and I want to share with you how I grew to love who I am!

Worry Less & Be More Carefree
This means just that – worry less about the outer appearance and more on the inner experience. Are you truly happy? That’s the true honest question! What is going to make you happy?
If you are worried about what your legs look like in shorts or how you look in a bathing suit, it causes you to be less carefree. By saying – “I like these shorts” – “they make me feel good” – “I want to wear them” – this allows you to open up your mind and accept yourself! This is a positive step in the direction of confidence! Once you Hakuna Matata – let loose – you’ll be able to enjoy every step of your confidence journey!
What you feel on the inside will naturally be on the outside.

Ask Yourself: What motivates you?
I have my days where I constantly may ask myself – Why am I doing what I am doing? Why am I really going through all of this? But it’s because I’m motivated for my end goal. Say going to the gym motivates you to have a great start to your day, continue to do that.
In other words, what gets you out of bed? That’s the reason to keep moving forward! This is a big step with confidence because sometimes we lack the drive or desire to feel good about ourselves. This is a good question to ask yourself when you aren’t feeling the best.

Find Your Passion & Run With It!
If you are new to my blogs, you may or may not know I’ve had a ton of self-esteem and confidence issues when I was younger. I turned to music as my passion. I was so interested in writing music, playing the piano and singing. Singing was and still is my true passion. It was what helped me have a voice when I felt like I didn’t have one.
Whenever you find yourself investing time in something that makes you happy – that’s your passion. Whenever I would get on stage and perform, that’s when I had the most confidence because I was doing something I loved. If you have the confidence in something you love – put that into your daily life and see if your confidence rises. I’m 150% sure it will! This is what helped me get to where I am now.

Wear What Makes You Feel Beautiful
There have been plenty times where someone’s commented on my YouTube videos “You have a double chin” or “Why are you wearing your shirt like that and showing all that stomach”. How can I stay confident if people make comments like that? My best advice to you and myself is to wear what makes you feel like the best version of you. Wear what makes you feel beautiful.
I recently tried on a jumpsuit at Target knowing that it would show all my curves and show them in the wrong ways, but also to wear it. I wanted to try one on. Be daring and try something new!

It’s not me, it’s you overalls! – Sorry clothes, it’s YOU!
This is a tip that I’ve recently been sticking to. There have been hundreds of clothing items that never fit me or will not fit me. When this happens, I avoid blaming myself. It’s simple – I know! Don’t blame yourself for not fitting into the overalls (or any other clothing item – for me, I’ve had a love-hate relationship with them).

Why should you have confidence?
My purpose for making this blog is to show you that clothing is material and it’s all about how it makes you feel. Material stretches and can be formed into anything you want it to be. The clothing has no personality – YOU DO.
Choose the items that bring you happiness and love! Wear the items that bring out the confidence in you. It may be hard to find the confidence within, but it will happen.
Why should confidence be your best accessory?
If you look good you feel good. I’ve always said this. If you wear something that makes you happy, be confident and rock it. It’s what matters on the inside which causes it to be the best accessory to have!

I hope this blog gave you all the inspiration you needed to be the best version of you! I hope it has given you the ability to search for the confidence within you to be bold, be you and love yourself!
Until the next blog,
Cheyenne Lenore
