Happy Fri-YAY! Cheers to the weekend! It’s Memorial Day weekend and what better way to celebrate then grabbing your friends and going to the beach – don’t have a swimsuit? I got you covered!
My go to swimsuit look is a one-piece swimsuit that makes me feel confident! This Palm Leaf Strappy one piece from Torrid is the perfect fit for summer! So many people have said – “if you wear a one piece, your not confident” or “a one piece covers too much”- whoever says that is TOTALLY WRONG! This day, I was having fun, comfortable and most important – I had the CONFIDENCE!
My favorite thing about the swimsuit is the “strappy” cut outs on the front of the swimsuit. This is a style of swimsuit that I’ve never seen at Torrid and was so excited to try it out! When I wore the swimsuit, I felt super confident in my self! I still was able to show a a little skin and feel comfortable!
The printed pattern is my number one reason for even trying on the swimsuit. If you know me, I will always buy anything with a palm leaf on it or a dress with a pattern like this. When I found it in the stores, I knew that is was perfect for me! The color is vibrant yet neutral at the same time. This was the perfect way to start out the summer.
Accessories are my favorite thing to add to any outfit. You already know my favorite essential when going to the beach – floppy hats! I had to bring my “On Vacation” floppy hat from Bealls to tie the whole look together. This hat brings out the neutrals of the swimsuit, but also protecting my face from the sun. Practical accessories are always a necessity on the beach!
Next time you go to the beach, try rocking something new with your swim suits this summer! I am so happy I found a comfortable one piece that makes me feel confident!
