Grab your sparklers and aprons, let’s get our 4th of July celebrations on!
I have tons of recipes and DIY treats that are going to bring the party this weekend. These were so much fun to create and make in honor of America’s birthday! I cannot wait to snack on these all weekend long!
Firecrackers | Pigs In A Blanket
I loved the idea of pigs in a blanket at any party because they are so easy to eat and I end of eating several of them (like the whole batch). So I loved the idea of making this iconic snack into a “Firecracker”!

What you’ll need:
2 cans of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
1 pack of Beef Lil’ Smokies
Mozzarella
Tooth picks
Mini star cutter
This is pretty simple for the instructions of making the pigs in a blanket! You want to roll out your dough until its flat and cut all triangles into two or three. Depending on how wrapped you like your smokies, I love a lot of crescent roll, so I made them into twos. Wrap the smokies into the dough, and put on a greased pan. Put in the oven at 350 degrees for 13 minutes.
While you pigs in a blanket are in the oven, you can start on the “firecracker” part of the snack! Slice the mozzarella cheese into thick slices and use a mini star cutter to make the star for the top of the firecracker.
Once the pigs in the blanket are done, grab a toothpick and the cheese star and put the toothpick at the top and you’re all done! Style on a pretty tray and you have mini firecrackers!
Bottle Rocket Sliders | Cheddar and Jalapeรฑo Stuffed Sliders

This is one of my favorite things David has ever made and I had to share this with you guys! I wanted to make mini sliders so bad for this blog and he made some amazing Bottle Rocket Sliders!

Here’s what you’ll need:
Kings Hawaiian Rolls
1lb Ground Beef (or any meat of your choosing)
3 Jalapeรฑos
3 Sweet Peppers
Red Onion
Cheddar Cheese
Sweet Relish
Put the meat of your choosing into a bowl and chop jalapeรฑos. Mix the jalapeรฑos into the meat. Once combined, make into small meatballs. Cut cheddar into small chunks and roll into the meat. Press into mini burgers and cook!
How to make the topping mixture: Chop and combine all the following ingredients: sweet peppers, jalapeรฑos, sweet relish, deli mustard, and red onion. Slide your Hawaiian rolls in half and add topping mixture to the mini sliders!
Theres burgers are sure to make a pop and kick those taste buds! These are super yummy and are great for a festive fireworks party!

Festive Sparklers | Watermelon and Blueberry Skewers
Fresh fruit is always a great option to add tons of color to your menu! Make the Sparklers and you’ll be that “star”!

What you’ll need:
Watermelon
Blueberries
Skewers
Star cutter
This is a super quick and easy treat that looks so cute for the whole family! Start of with cutting out stars with the watermelon. Once you do that, feed the blueberries through the skewer and add the star on top! This makes for the cutest edible sparkler out there!

Fourth of July Mixed Drink | Attempted Layered Drink
Y’all I have been wanting to try a fourth of July layered drink for YEARS. So I put the Pinterest hack to the test. It totally didn’t work but it made for a really sweet festive drink! I felt very festive and it kind of tastes like a violet and pink drink from Starbucks.

What you’ll need:
Oceanspray Cranapple
Pina Colada Mixer
Blue G2 Gatorade
If you want to make it alcoholic, Captain Morgan Pineapple Rum. (I like rum y’all so that’s why it’s in the front haha)
Grab your glasses that you want to use and put ice in them. Add the Cranapple to under halfway, add a little bit of Pina Colada Mixer, then top it off with G2 Gatorate! If you want to add vodka, Captain Morgan Pineapple rum, or anything that is a clear alcohol will work for this drink. It didn’t layer like it was suppose to, but I also couldn’t find the correct brand of Pina Colada mix. I will attempt again! But it’s super yummy and sweet! Drink responsibly y’all!

Sโmores Dip | Twist on a Classic S’mores Treat
Want a less messy option for s’mores? I GOT YOU. This is the hack I wish I knew a LONG time ago! This is a classic treat that everyone will love and mess free!

Here’s the things you’ll need:
Marshmallow
Chocolate
Graham crackers
Cast iron skillet
Grab your skillet and place the chocolate bars on the bottom of the skillet. Layer the marshmallows on top, and put in the oven for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve the dip with graham crackers on a tray and you’re ready for dipping!
I hope this blog gave you all the ideas for a fun Fourth of July weekend! I hope you try out some of these recipes and ideas for the whole family! I will be drinking my pineapple rum and eating my Firecracker pigs in a blanket snack the whole weekend!
Cheers! Have an amazing Fourth of July! Click here to check out more festive treats for the 4th of July!
Until the next blog,
Lots of love,
