This outfit is one of my favorites that I actually outfit repeat! If I want a summer outfit to be in the hot summer sun, this is the look I am going for! A blue and white striped look is always what I go for.
My blue and white striped shorts are from Forever 21. These shorts were from last summer, but I still love them! The shorts are super comfortable and stretchy! These are ones that I was a little hesitant at first not to wear with a longer top to cover my stomach, but the stripes would be completely covered.
I decided to pair these iconic blue and white striped shorts with a white linen butterfly cropped top from Forever 21. This top is my favorite white top in my closet. This is also an older Forever 21 top, but they currently have a lime green and pink one available on their website! I love this top because of the little details! The knot of the front and showing a little bit of skin on the bottom is super cute for the hot weather and to add extra style.
Let’s talk all the accessories! For the complete summer look, I had to go with my staple piece – a straw boater hat from Torrid! This hat is styled in all my outfits all summer long! This is one of my favorite style pieces to go with any look!
To finish the look, I paired it with a bamboo handbag. At the beginning of summer, I purchased this bag from TJ Maxx! I was so excited to have this handbag because I had been wanting to purchase it for years! It is an awkward purse, but I love it for the summer vibes!
This whole outfit is one that I have been rocking all summer long. It’s super easy to slip on and takes no time! When I wear this outfit, I seem to always get stares because it shows a lot of my stomach and little bit of skin. This outfit makes me feel confident and I feel SO good in it! That is the point of expressing yourself throughout fashion – if it makes you feel confident and you feel good in it – ROCK IT!
