Pumpkin Pie Garland DIY | Easy Decor For Thanksgiving

With Thanksgiving in just a few days, it’s time to finalize those menus, figure out who’s zoom calls we are going to attend, and what our outfits will be wearing! One way I love to get into the festive spirit is by doing a fun DIY!

This garland is super cute and will for sure get everyone excited for pie! This garland is super cute and perfect for your desert table or background of your zoom!

Here’s what you’ll need:
Tan Felt
Orange Felt
A Sheet of Paper
Scissors
Hot Glue
White Pompoms

Create with the blank sheet of paper a pie slice! This will just be a triangle with the curved bottom. Once you have your pie slice, use that paper to cut out as many orange “pie slices” as you want! I made 12 pie slices. I took the tan felt and cut into strips to act as the pie crust.

To add the the ‘crust’, you use the hot glue along the curved part of the orange piece and glue down the tan strip. With the tan strip you want to create the crust. You can make it wavy by pushing up the strip after putting a small piece down and repeating until you are at the end of the triangle.

To add the “whip cream”, use a white pompom in the middle of the triangle. This will complete the pie slice!

Once you have everything together, add twine to the back of the pie slice and separate apart by 3-4 inches! Now you have a super cute Pumpkin Pie Garland!

If you try this out, let me know in the comments below! I love this DIY so much, I knew I had to try it out! Pumpkin pie is my favorite pie, what’s your favorite?

I’ll see y’all tomorrow for a new blog!
