Happy Galentine’s Day to all my gals out there! I wanted to share this super cute and sweet outfit that is hands down my favorite OOTD for the year so far. I have been wanting to style an all pink look for Valentine’s Day and what perfect way to style a pink look, than for Galentine’s!
I wanted to try something different that I’ve never tried before – monochromatic! This is a style that is trending right now! I wanted to see if it was something I would like to style, and I was SO right. I had the most confident and I felt pretty. This outfit is such a pretty look and I was feeling it!
For starters, I styled my pink corduroy circle skirt from Torrid as the main course of the look. The whole outfit was inspired by this skirt. It’s one of the best circle skirts I’ve ever purchased. The flow just the perfect amount of flow. The skirt length is great and the feel of the skirt feels luxurious! The skirt is high quality! Also, it has pockets!
This outfit is so comfortable because of the cozy vibes of this sweater! My chunky, knit, pink sweater is from Old Navy from a couple years ago. It is a classic sweater! I tucked it into the skirt add styled it off the shoulder. I really love that the two pink shares were not the same shade of pink.
I really wanted to play with textures for this look. I styled corduroy, knit, velvet, wool – ALL OF IT! It just shows you that you don’t have to stick with one type of fabric to make a cute fashion statement.
The knit Old Navy sweater was the perfect addition to the outfit. It made the skirt pop and shine!
Moving on to the booties of the outfit, these shoes have made SEVERAL appearances on the blog. This time, I knew the velvet booties were a essential for the outfit. I was going for all the pretty in pink vibes and those boots made it happen!
Torrid’s booties have always been a 10/10 for me. The are comfortable, they fit around my ankles AND they are always super cute! If you have never looked into getting some, now is the time!
Let’s talk accessories! Accessories are a fashionistas best friend. If you are looking to spice up a look, try adding a hat! I love accessorizing with hats in the summer and fall, so I knew I needed to find something for spring. I found a blush pink beret on Amazon for less than $10! It was the perfect addition to the pretty in pink look!
I styled the beret with a cream colored pearl barrette! I knew whenever I purchased a beret, the first thing I would add to the look is a barrette and it totally worked! This combination made me feel like a pink queen.
One of my Instagram Besties and Curvy Blogger, Vanessa, shared these heart shaped earrings in her story last week. I immediately purchased them through Amazon so fast. I’ve never ordered anything that quick. I was on the hunt for earring like this. They high quality! I was so surprised and I fell in love with them so fast!
I truly felt pretty in pink! It’s an outfit that I couldn’t stop looking at in the mirror! I realized in that moment that I knew what self-love was. It’s crazy how one outfit can change your whole mood and instantly give you that pick-me-up you may need.
