This outfit I’m sharing today is one of my favorites. It’s a look that is super simple, but something I look forward to wearing every summer. Shorts, stripes, a boater hat and sandals – my perfect summer outfit!
I recently have been looking for the perfect pair of shorts and these boyfriend style shorts from Old Navy are the perfect fit. They aren’t too big or too tight around the thighs, they are probably one of the best shorts out there. Old Navy knows denim and they make their shorts with the perfect length and material. They are durable and comfortable – the ideal essentials for the Florida heat!
I have always loved stripes for the summer, so when I saw this striped top, I HAD to get it. Pink, blue and white stripes? I’m here for it! All my favorite colors in one! Funny story about this top; it actually is a “sleep” top from Old Navy. When I saw it online, I said, why would I wear this to sleep when I would wear it out in public?! I know it was totally my vibe, so here I am, in Hyde Park, wearing a “sleep” shirt.
If I never told you that it was a sleep top, you would’ve never known! It’s so great! I love the babydoll style tops. They are just perfect with a pair of shorts for the summer. It’s a fun style I like to call, my go-to, classic, Florida Summer Style!
Since this is my go-to style for the summer, I always wear espadrilles. They are the perfect shoes for any summer look. I pretty much own a pair in every color, but these tan ones are the one’s I always go for. I have been loving straw everything as of lately, so this handbag from Macy’s and my boater hat from Torrid. Two major essentials for my summer looks!
