Happy Wednesday Fall Lovers!
Today I have one of my favorite fall outfits! The classic red and blue checkered plaid! This is a classic and basic look that I love to spice up with girly details perfect for Florida Fall weather.
First, I started with my favorite shorts from Torrid! I love them because of the lace detailing. The shorts are very comfortable and loose. They are the perfect shorts to dress up or down.
Light denim wash is in for the season! It is a classic color that is the perfect combination for bold colors such as plaid!
My plaid top is by Passport, a brand typically found throughout Ross and Bealls. The selection of plaid at these discount stores are amazing! It is essentials to have at least one plaid top in your wardrobe. This plaid isn’t actually flannel. Since Florida is constantly hot, I found a more breathable top with a silkier material!
I took a bold risk and went for tucking in the plaid shirt and accessorizing with a western themed belt from Torrid. I typically never wear my shirts tucked in, but with the shorts and the belt, it tied the whole “Western Fall” style together.
Lastly, I finished the look with my brown booties by Steve Madden and my black Michael Kors Jet Traveler bag. I wore a red lipstick to enhance the red look for fall!
