
Happy Holidays Y’all!
Nothing says the holidays like cinnamon, spice, and everything nice! This is my go-to recipe for the holidays! The smell of this bread will go throughout the house! What you will need:
- 1 stick unsalted butter softened
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 cup applesauce
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup walnuts (a little extra wouldn’t hurt!)
- 1 cup raisins
- Baking Loaf Pan
- Mixer or Bowl
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour your loaf pan.
Step 2: Cream the softened butter and brown sugar together.
Step 3: Add all ingredients except raisins and walnuts.
Step 4: Mix until well blended
Step 5: Fold in the raisins and walnuts.
Step 6: Pour into floured loaf pan and bake for 60 minutes!
